The airline industry is a large employer that offers many types of jobs and careers. The focus of your airport job search will be to find the one you are interested in, learn the required skills, submit your resume, and perform well in your interview.
Find a job you like. The first step in finding an airport job will be to look at the jobs available in the airline industry. Since the field is quite large, you will have many positions to choose from. Take your time and research jobs or careers that interest you and interest you
Research the skills or training required by the position. Once you have found an airport job or career that interests you, you will need to find out what training, qualifications, education or skills it might require. These requirements will vary greatly from position to position and doing a little research can help you understand what the position you have chosen might require of you.
Some airport jobs such as pilot or air traffic controller will require years of highly specialized and rigorous training.
Custodians or maintenance workers are responsible for maintaining the airport and are generally excellent entry level positions.
Some security positions with the TSA only require you to pass a background check, have a high school diploma, and be a US citizen at least 18 years old.
Get all the necessary job requirements. After determining the position you would like to pursue in the airline industry, you will need to set out to acquire the required skills or training. If you already have these skills, you may want to consider how up-to-date they are and seek refresher courses if necessary.

Include past employers on your resume. It is considered standard procedure to include a list of your past employers over a ten-year period. Detail your skills, qualifications and education. Your employer will use your CV to judge whether you are a good potential candidate for the position you are applying for. In order to demonstrate this, you will want to include all relevant skills and qualifications for the position as well as your current level of education. Some positions require specific qualifications or certification which should be included on your CV.
Prepare a list of references. Although the airport you are applying to may not require you to do so, preparing a list of high quality references can be a helpful step to take. Apply for vacancies. Once your resume is complete and up to date, it’s time to start applying for airport vacancies. Try to submit an application for any open position that interests you and for which you are qualified. Stay positive and persistent as you go through the application process all the way to an interview.

Apply to as many vacancies as possible to increase your chances of getting an interview.
Arrive early. Arriving early for an interview is a simple step you can take to allow yourself to do your best during the process. Make sure you allow yourself plenty of time to get to your interview and plan to arrive at least ten minutes before your scheduled interview time. [11]

Stay confident. Although the interview can be a difficult and stressful process, expressing confidence can help you get the job. Try to keep some of the following things in mind to help you sound confident and enthusiastic during the interview:
